Dawn continues to drag us through court because her son refused to return home to her, and as a result of the court shenanigans the Judge ordered that the parties (Butch and Dawn) mediate their issues. The judge further specifically instructed the two work together in the best interest of the child.
I cannot go into specifics about what happened in mediation, nor was I present during mediation. I do know that Butch offered Dawn no child support obligation for Darius now or in the future if she would drop all the stupid court stuff, sign the new agreement and move forward. Dawn refused this offer. Never once during 3 hours of mediation did she ask or bring up the issue of seeing her kid again; it's been six months.
The one and only thing that Dawn requested during mediation was the ability to purchase Darius a new cell phone, (she is the one who disconnected his cell when he wouldn't return to Florida) and have arranged times to speak with him on that phone twice a week. She is pretending she cannot reach Darius. Phone records still show she has called for him zero times.
Naturally, Butch agreed to this request because it's stupid and makes no difference. You want to pay for Darius another new phone? Whatever!
On 05/28/2015 the below court order went into affect giving Dawn the only thing she wanted during mediation - the right to purchase another phone for Darius. As of 06/13/2015, 16 days later, Darius has still not received the phone.
I cannot wrap my head around the games this woman plays. She goes to mediation acting as if she had to bargain to buy Darius a phone in order to have contact with him and then she doesn't even buy the damn phone!?!?! What a complete waste of everyone's time, money, and resources. All the while, Darius is waiting on a cell phone. She is truly a lunatic - completely incapable of rationale actions.
